Privacy notice
Method & Pace respects your privacy. This notice explains what information this website handles, why we use it and the choices available to you.
Who is responsible for your information?
Method & Pace operates this website and is responsible for personal information submitted through it. If you have a privacy question or want to exercise a data protection right, use the contact form and put “Privacy request” in your message. Please do not include identity documents or other sensitive information in the form.
Information you choose to send us
If you use the enquiry form, we receive your name, agency name, work email address, the area you select and the details you provide in your message. We use this information to respond to your enquiry, understand the work you are asking about and decide whether a conversation or proposal is appropriate.
The form is not a secure route for tenant records, identity documents, financial information, customer records or system credentials. Do not send those things.
Every submission is also recorded in our own first-party lead database, hosted on Cloudflare, before any email is sent. We do this regardless of the cookie choice described below, so that an enquiry is never lost if an email fails to arrive — it is treated the same as the enquiry information described above.
Our lawful basis
We use information supplied in an enquiry because it is necessary to take steps at your request before a possible engagement and to respond to you. We may also use it for our legitimate interest in managing enquiries and preventing abuse. We do not use enquiry information for an unrelated marketing list without a separate lawful basis and, where required, your consent.
Security and service providers
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. The enquiry form is processed by Basin, which stores submissions so the form can be delivered and managed. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form submission is being made by a person rather than an automated service; it does not read or store the message you enter. These providers may process technical information under their own privacy and data-processing terms.
This site does not use third-party advertising trackers, analytics or social-media embeds. If you arrive here from an online advertisement, we use a first-party cookie (never shared with other websites) to record which advertisement led to your visit, so we can tell which advertising is actually worth the cost. This cookie is only set if you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit, lasts up to 180 days, and you can decline it at any time without affecting your ability to use the site or send an enquiry. Cloudflare may also use strictly necessary technical storage to provide hosting, security and reliability.
How long we keep information
We keep an enquiry for as long as needed to respond and manage the conversation, normally no longer than 12 months after the last meaningful contact unless a longer period is needed for an agreed business relationship or a legal obligation, and no longer than 24 months in the first-party lead database described above. Basin's own retention and deletion controls also apply while a submission is held there. Anonymous visit information used to measure which advertising works (not tied to an enquiry) is kept for up to 14 months.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions in data protection law, you can ask for a copy of your information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing or an objection to processing based on legitimate interests. You can make a request through the contact form. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
